<Concerning COVID-19, there can be a change in Seoul Queer Culture Festival
and Korea Queer Film Festival schedules due to the guidelines given by health authorities.>
Greetings to you all, This is the Seoul Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee, wishing you peace and good health.
The Seoul Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee considers the participants’ health and safety as our top priorities.
By closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and the guidelines from health authorities,
we are considering all the possible scenarios due to change in plans(e.g., scheduled dates).
Since COVID-19 is spreading at an increasing speed, Seoul Queer Culture Festival and Korea Queer Film Festival is planning to
postpone the scheduled date for this year's Pride Festival from late May to mid or late June.
However, with everything in doubt, the delayed date is not fixed, and there can be an additional change,
following the flow of the situation and the guidelines from health authorities.
The Seoul Queer Culture Festival and Korea Queer Film Festival has been held every year for the last two decades,
and we are dedicated to creating a successful festival this year as well.
We hope for a swift end to the COVID-19 epidemic so that we meet you in a good health.
Seoul Queer Culture Festival Organizing Committee will do our best to hold a safe and successful event.
In 2015, anti-LGBT organizations exploited national health crisis called MERS as an excuse
to spread hate towards LGBTQIA+ people and maligned Seoul Queer Culture Festival.
We will not accept this anymore in 2020. We hope everyone can safely cope with the spread of COVID-19.
Again, wishing you good health and peace.
